Steven C. Spronz

A transactional lawyer for 39 years and commercial mediator for more than 20 years, Mr. Spronz brings his negotiation skills and collaborative negotiation techniques to the mediation table to help parties resolve disputes. Over the years he has mediated innumerable numbers of matters, of many types, including commercial and real estate cases assigned by the California Superior Court to alternate dispute resolution. He served as a volunteer mediator and mediation-training coach for the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office and is a former member of the National Mediation Panel of the National Association of Securities Dealers.

 As a practicing lawyer, Mr. Spronz has represented a broad spectrum of domestic and international clients in a wide variety of commercial transactions and matters, including public and private equity funds, mergers and acquisitions, partnership, joint venture, financing and corporate business matters, and in the acquisition, disposition, financing, development and leasing of real estate.

 Mr. Spronz is also actively involved in the international legal community, presenting, teaching and working with businesses and lawyers across the globe. In addition to his many international presentations, Mr. Spronz taught a Commercial Law Practicum to lawyers in South Africa for twelve years, first in partnership with the American Bar Association, the Black Lawyers of South Africa and the International Senior Lawyers project, and then in partnership with the Law Society of South Africa and the International Senior Lawyers Project.  He also participated in the environmental issues section of the academic conferences held between Israel and the Palestinians, which paralleled the Multilateral Talks (the Madrid Process) during the early 1990's.

Mr. Spronz speaks German, French and Hebrew.
